FAQ – for Referrers (Existing TELUS Home Solutions Customers)


Who can I refer?

You can refer friends or family who do not already have one or more of the following TELUS Home Services: Optik TV, Satellite TV, Home Phone, or Internet.
 

How do I make a referral?

To make a referral, sign in to your TELUS My Account and click on the “Refer TELUS Home Solutions” button on telus.com/refer.
 

How many friends can I refer?

There is no limit to the number of referrals you can send to your friends and no limit to the number of rewards you can earn in a calendar year..
 

What does my friend need to do for me to earn a reward?

  1. Fill out the “Request Service” form (by entering their name, email address, phone number, address, preferred contact time and services they are interested in).
  2. Wait for a TELUS rep to contact them to book their installation service(s) (this should take no more than 24 hours).
  3. Get their TELUS Home Service(s) successfully installed within 30 days of filling out the “Request Service” form and keep their TELUS Home Service(s).
     

If my friend is already a TELUS customer, but I told him/her to renew their contract, can I still get a reward?

In order to qualify for a reward, your friend must be a TELUS customer who installed their Optik TV, Satellite TV, Home Phone or Internet service(s) after they filled out the “Request Service” form in the referral program.
 

How do I qualify for a referral reward?

You must be a current TELUS Home Solutions customer who has TELUS Home Solutions services and must have an account in good standing.
 

How many rewards can I earn per referral?

You can earn up to 3 rewards per referral, one for each eligible service your friend installs with TELUS.
 

How long does it take to receive the reward?

The referral reward(s) will be emailed to you within 30 days after your friend installs their service with TELUS.
 

How can I see if I have received my referral reward?

We will send you an email after your referral has been approved and you have earned a reward as a result of the referral. Your reward will then be emailed to you from our Virtual Reward Centre 1 to 2 weeks later.
 

Will you give out my friend's contact information?

FAQ – for Referees (Non-TELUS customers)


How do I claim the referral and earn a reward?

  1. Fill out the “Request Service” form (by entering your name, email address, phone number, address, preferred contact time and services you are interested in) in the referral program.
  2. Wait for a TELUS rep to contact you to book your installation service(s) (this should take no more than 24 hours).
  3. Get your TELUS Home Service(s) successfully installed within 30 days of filling out the “Request Service” form.
     

How long are referrals valid for?

Once you receive your referral, you will have 45 days to Request Service (by entering your name, email address, phone number, address, preferred contact time and services you are interested in) in the referral program. After you have requested service, you have 30 days to install any/all eligible services. 
 

If I was referred by more than one person, can I get more than one credit?

No. You can only fill out the Request Service form from one person.
 

How many bill credits can I earn per referral?

You can earn up to 3 bill credits per referral, one for each eligible service you install with TELUS.
 

How can I see if I have received my referral bill credit?

Your referral credits will show up on your next bill.

Are corporate or business accounts eligible for the referral credit?

No, program is only eligible for TELUS Home Solutions consumer services.
